PTA MEETINGS:

Our next PTA meeting will be February 23 at 630pm in the library.

April 18
May 18

PLUSS MEETINGS:

Parent Leaders United for Snohomish Students (PLUSS) in simple terms is like a parent meeting for the whole district.  It is not a PTA, PTO or parent group meeting.  It is a meeting of parents from all of the schools in the district along with district staff.  This is a great place to hear what the district is working on, what the concerns of other parents are or simply what is happening in our district.  Please consider attending one of these meetings if you would like to have first hand knowledge of what is going on around the Snohomish School District.

The next PLUSS meeting will be
January 12, 2017 - Drugs in Our Community
Meetings are held at the SSD office
1601 Avenue D in Snohomish

KIDMAIL FLYERS:

Weekly on Thursdays your child will bring home important papers in their 'take home' folders. Be sure to check these folders.

Hello Cascade View Families,

On November 10th, our students honored our Veterans at the Veterans Day Assembly. Directed by our very own Veteran, Mr Tanner our music teacher. The students read personal essays and performed beautiful Patriotic songs that touched all of us. Thank you to all who have served, and are currently serving our Country.

This is a busy time of year for so many reasons. Many of us celebrate the holidays of the season, enjoy times with family and friends from near and far, participate in community service projects, attend school concerts and plays. These activities, added to our normal schedules, can add stress to our children. Please keep in mind that this time of year students can sometimes have emotions and behaviors that are more extreme or 'out of the norm'. Provide your child with additional support and reassurance during this and any stressful time or experience.
